Alpadis Group Buys Fellow Swiss Firm

Switzerland-headquartered Alpadis Group, which provides multi-jurisdictional corporate and fiduciary services, is pushing into the Italian and South American market with its purchase of EOS Trust and Consulting. As part of the transaction, Elena Arlotta, trust manager and tax advisor at EOS Trust and Consulting, will join Alpadis as a board member of Alpadis Group Holding AG and director of Alpadis Trust AG. Over the past few years, Alpadis Group has significantly expanded its global footprint. In October 2023, the company was registered as a Designated Non-Financial Business or Profession in the Dubai International Financial Centre with an office opened in DIFC in November 2022. In February 2022, it established a new office in Tokyo, Japan, and in January 2022, it expanded into the United Arab Emirates by opening its first office in Dubai through a merger with Loggerhead Management Consultants. In September 2020 Alpadis moved into Thailand, partnering with Mahanakorn Partners Group and opening an office in Bangkok. Additionally, in October 2018, the firm bought Louvre Fiduciary Limited in Hong Kong, integrating all operations, employees, and customers into Alpadis Group.
The Zurich-based firm said this acquisition is pending approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority. The financial terms were not disclosed.
EOS Trust and Consulting, which is based in Erlenbach, Switzerland, undertakes international tax consulting, domestic tax advice, relocation of natural persons, corporate administration, philanthropy, and Swiss trustee services.
“This acquisition, our fourth in Zurich, is a strategic move to consolidate our position in Switzerland, extend our geographical reach and grow our tax and succession planning capabilities further,” Alain Esseiva, CEO of Alpadis Group, said.
“We look forward to contributing our expertise to Alpadis Group’s diversified portfolio, especially in the Italian and South American markets,” Arlotta said.
Alpadis has offices in Switzerland, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Japan, with a total of more than 65 experts. In July 2017 Alpadis acquired Singapore-based TAO Trust Group Pte as part of an expansion in the Asia city-state.
